Educated at the universities of Geneva and Bath, Annie has taught English as a foreign language since the 1970s. In that time she has lived and worked in a wide variety of countries, among them Ethiopia, China, Mozambique, Sweden, Germany, Poland, Greece, Egypt, and the UAE. Her experience in industry, commerce and administration is extensive, ranging from multi-nationals to small businesses and freelance individuals, covering most types of professional activity.

She now specialises in short intensive courses, working with small groups or one-to-one, and has a particular interest in English language coaching. This helps individuals develop fluency and language skills needed for their specific job, using their technical knowledge to provide topics for discussion.
